KAI PERMANENT COLLECTION #03
FACT  No.03

The evolution of shaving technology is the evolution of man's lifestyle.

The medical field is ever evolving. As technology evolves, surgical techniques and equipment must also evolve. In the past, cataract surgery was quite an invasive procedure. Now, it only requires a 3mm incision. It takes a great deal of skill to operate while looking through a microscope.

KAI works closely with doctors in order to create the best medical equipment possible. After listening to the needs of surgeons, several knives were commissioned. One of the commissioned blades, a small-edged retractable blade, will hopefully prevent accidents from occurring in the operating room. Technology, gained through the production of razors, is now being used to support the medical field.
